Away day to play previous season winners Grange! A very positive game with short corners working and lots of possession. For most of this game it felt like the Colin Fraser and Logan Forbes passing game where no one touched ball but them. Grange never challenged and pressed our defensive line when we had the ball.
After 5 mins in Craig Black was presented with the ball at the top of the D and with shot on target got the game going 1 -0, Just before the end of the first quarter we got our second from a short corner and straight strike from Lewis. Short corner practice Thursday night must have helped.
We went into the 2nd half 2 - 0 up and some loose passing to their forwards got them a goal. Before the end of the 3rd quarter saw them again get the ball and slot it in resulting in a draw by the fourth. The team gave it they’re all in the fourth quarter but couldn’t convert.
Lots of positives to take away and get ready for an away game to Fidra next week.
Lots of good performances and motm was close this week.
