For the first match of 2024 the Devs made the short trip over to Dunfermline to take on a strong Dunfermline Carnegie side with plenty of youthful quality amongst their ranks.
The Devs gave debuts to Conor, Sam and Xander, and probably fielded their youngest squad for a while.
Carnegie dominated possession across all 4 quarters, and apart from a brief rally in Q2, FAL struggled to create any real presure on the home goal. ALFIE KAY getting the only goal for FAL from a penalty corner deflection.
Although a tough game for the youngsters, it shows the level we need to strive for.
Positives were Sam getting PotM on his debut, and Logan passing his umpiring assessment.
