A very wet Linlithgow Academy played host to Men's Development vs Inverleith 4s. A huge shout out to the 1s, 2s,3s and Liam Witt (umpire) that helped to get the game going.
I can't comment on the first quarter as I arrived with a minute left due to the weather.
The important aspects of the game were that the young players and Simon played well, listened to the more experienced players, made some great leads and got stuck in.
Goals for Michael C and Bryce. DC conceded one at the end and as such his position in the 1s should be considered 😉.
Everyone that turned out deserves praise for being out in such horrendous conditions. But the writer of this report will give motm to Bryce for stepping up and playing his first outfield game in such a long time at short notice and scoring.
Much thanks to Inverleith as well for letting the game get played as a friendly, and giving everyone the opportunity to play.
