A tough last fixture for pre-season.
Stirling started the brighter scoring their first short corner after 3 minutes. Falkirk and Linlithgow failed to find the rhythm which they finished the Watson's game with.
Unfortunately Stirling continued to press and had 2 more shorts go in, much to the dismay of Sam Edwards in goal.
2nd half and FaL became the better side including a switch to play 3-5-2. Resulting in a short corner for Lewis Williamson to slot away.
More pressure resulted in the award of a penalty flick which the less said about the execution the better. Players on both sides started to struggle with the heat and the intensity. Kev Squire had an opportunity to get an open play goal but the ball trickled agonisingly 2 inches parallel to the goal line for a defender to clear.
Like with most pre-season friendlies there were some great passages of play and some areas to work on to start the league strong against Eskvale next week.
